The Online Scotch Whisky Awards (OSWAs) - 2024 Nominations Guide

Voting is now open for the fourth edition of the Online Scotch Whisky Awards (OSWAs) - on September 14th, 2024, Roy (Aqvavitae) and Ralfy broadcast the nominations for this year’s awards. This platform is an enthusiast-driven, transparent, online award scheme built to celebrate the best whiskies that the industry has to offer, both within Scotland and outside it.
There are 9 categories, each sporting 6 nominations for the voters to choose from. Candidates for nomination in each category were harvested from both a public poll and from core contributors (whisky-focused YouTube channels, review websites, podcasts, and more), after which the lists were refined to the final choices by 80 OSWA contributors.
Now that the nominations have been announced, it’s time for the public vote - you, me, and everyone else with an interest in whisky can have their say in the final winner of each category. The 9 categories and their nominations are listed below; where applicable, we’ve added links to reviews of the whiskies in each category.
